Who is covered
- The original owner of the vehicle the film was installed on.
- The film must be installed by an authorized Fusion8 centre.
- The authorized centre must register the installation on a Fusion8 warranty card within 14 days of installation, with the customer's name, mobile number and installation date. Keep your warranty card for future reference.
- The warranty cannot be transferred. It ends if the vehicle is sold or changes ownership.
What is covered
Defects in the film's materials or manufacturing that appear under normal use, including:
- Yellowing or discolouration
- Cracking
- Blistering or bubbling
- Peeling or delamination
- Staining that cannot be cleaned, caused by a film defect
Strong sun, high temperatures and sand are normal use in the Middle East and do not void the warranty.
What is not covered
- Installation by anyone other than an authorized Fusion8 centre
- Installation mistakes such as lifted edges, trapped dirt or misalignment; these are handled by the centre that installed the film
- Damage from accidents, collisions, vandalism, theft or road debris that cuts through the film
- Damage from abrasive polishing, harsh chemicals, solvents, or a pressure washer used too close to the film's edges
- Damage to the paint under the film, or paint that was damaged or poorly repainted before installation
- Films that have been removed, modified or repaired by someone other than an authorized centre
- Normal wear, and minor scratches that the self-healing top coat is designed to repair with heat
What Fusion8 will do
- If a claim is approved, Fusion8 supplies replacement film for the affected panels.
- The labour to remove and refit the film is not covered by Fusion8.
- Any additional warranty that an installer offers on its own behalf is the installer's responsibility and is not covered by Fusion8.
How to claim
- Contact the authorized centre that installed your film, or Fusion8 directly.
- Share your warranty card number, the installation date and clear photos of the problem.
- Do not remove the film until it has been inspected.
- The centre or Fusion8 inspects the vehicle, and Fusion8 decides whether the claim is covered.
Caring for your film
- Follow your installer's advice on when to wash the car for the first time.
- Hand wash, or keep a pressure washer well away from the film's edges.
- Do not use abrasive polishes or compounds on the film.
- Remove bird droppings, insects and tree sap promptly.
